"Resort is set in a beautiful part of LongSet beach and within walking distance to the pier. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating but the best staff member was a sweet resident resort dog named mack who played and swam in the ocean and was always on the search for more belly rubs from hotel guests. "

"We were picked up from the pier by hotel staff and were taken on a short walk on the beach to our hotel. We found our room clean and comfortable and were forever grateful for a perfectly working air con. All staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful at all times. The restaurant served delicious food and there was a good choice of local and western dishes. You do feel a little isolated from the rest of the island but then we thought that the Pagoda beach was the nicest on the whole island. We would definitely stay again."

A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "

"I was generally impressed and pleased with my stay at the hotel. My only suggestion for improvement is the buffet breakfast. It is probably a matter of personal taste, I felt that the noodle soup lacked taste. "
