"Disappointing stay. The deck overlooking the Kunene River which is featured in the advertisement for the property is stunning. However, nothing else lived up to these expectations. Our booking showed a hotel room and when we arrived we were shown to what was apparently a "guides" room. The room was small, dark and dingy and was closed with a lock on a latch. "The camp is well run and is also well laid-out. Mixture of cabins and also camping places makes it a good stop on the way north/south. The restcamp is well run, and looks neat & tidy. Tea/coffee facilities in the room together with a private bathroom. No problems with water despite the nationwide water shortages and power cuts. Pleasant bar/outside area for sitting and a good bar menu too. Considering the other options in Kamanjab then this must be the best place. Recommended if...
