"I did not have an opportunity to notify the hotel in advance that I would need an airport pickup. Managed to call them and they sent a vehicle. Arrived and found they had no reservation for me, but gave me the "walk-in" price which was the same. When I requested transportation back to the airport the following day, I was told they were "booked up" and I would need to hire a taxi at MY expense. "From the moment we walked into Four Seasons Kuwait to the moment we left, the entire experience was exceptional. The level of hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care from the team made our stay truly special. A very special mention must go to Pammi, who was absolutely brilliant from the very beginning. She made sure our check-in was smooth, personally showed us to our room, and continued to check on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness made such a difference, and she was absolutely wonderful. We also want to thank Muhammad in the indoor pool and spa, who was fantastic and always attentive to everything we needed. His service and friendly manner really added to our experience. At the outdoor pool, Louis and Imran were incredible. They looked after us so well, anticipated our needs, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our time there. Their attentiveness and hospitality were second to none. What stood out most was that every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. "The Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail is a stunning hotel with great facilities, but their front desk service and room management were incredibly disappointing. I specifically booked a King room, but when I arrived at 5:50 PM, I was told it was unavailable. Instead, they downgraded me to a handicap-accessible room, and it wasn't even ready until very late at night. To make it worse, the communication was nonexistent. I clearly told the front desk that my local Kuwaiti SIM was turned off and asked them to notify me via WhatsApp or text when the room was finally ready. They completely ignored this, called the deactivated number anyway, and never sent a message, leaving me waiting for hours. You expect a much higher standard of service and organization from a Waldorf Astoria."
