"This hotel is the perfect location to everything! Trains only 12 min walk. Ferry to other areas is less than that! Restaurants all within walking distance. Front desk staff was very helpful. Daily breakfast was very good and staff ready for your Expresso, cappuccino or latte order. Room was small but expected. Patio to sea view a treat! Definitely would stay again. "

"The staff and property are five star. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. The spa and pool area are beautiful. Frankie at the front desk was very informative on activities to do in the area. This is the only property to stay at when visiting Cinque Terra. You want to stay in Levanto which has many shops, restaurants and beach compared to the Cinque Terra cities which are overcrowded. "We really enjoyed our stay at the excelsior palace. Beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful and always on hand. We arrived and were showed to our rooms with a gift waiting for us on arrival. Breakfast was great aswell. I wouldn’t say the rooms were soundproof. We could hear our neighbour on the phone and the people above but thankfully I already were ear plugs at night. The only thing I would suggest changing would be the paper cups in the room with the kettle. For a 5 star hotel I would really expect ceramic mugs. we would definitely reccomend staying here and would stay again. "
