"This delightful house is set in an small historic town located in a central part of the Loire, on the river Cher. From here we could explore the Loire Valley itself, the Solonge, and Berry. The cottage was comfortable, warm and suited our needs as a couple. Deborah provided easy instructions and a warm greeting when we arrived. St Aignan has enough facilities, including food options. "Great place to stay near Blois town centre, in what was the location of original Poulain chocolate factory. Modern ish building, not superbly maintained though. Lift was out of order most of the time we were there, which was a major inconvenience for an elderly member of our group, and luggage transport. The newly refurbished bedrooms are great, not much storage space around the bed but good enough. "
