The château was absolutely incredible! It felt like stepping right into the set of Game of Thrones! The breakfast was delicious, and the owner was simply adorable. I can’t recommend this place enough! I would definitely come back! ❤️🏰

My family, including our two young children, stayed at Repère Sauvage for three nights in late June 2026, and we had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, with thoughtful attention to every detail, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, the bicycles, and the delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again on a future trip. Highly recommended!

This hotel is a gem. It’s close to all the major chateaux but is situated in a beautiful forest. They had bikes for use that we enjoyed as a family. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The power went out in the whole region unexpectedly due to an intense storm in the area. We had reservations for dinner, and they figured out how to make us a delicious dinner without power, set up a beautiful candle-lit table, and provided us electric candles for our room. What a delightful experience! We decided to splurge and stay in a Château since we were going to the Loire Valley, and were so glad we did! Our room was in one of the cottages, so it was quiet and felt like we had our own house. The breakfast at the Château was wonderful, particularly for the view. Outstanding service as well! Great proximity to Tours and the chateaux.

We stayed 15 days in France and this was our favorite hotel.. Room was exceptional staff was fantastic with excellent Wifi and Free Parking.We just loved this hotel. This is 5 stars plus.. Now the downside.. The Parking is horrible. You need to almost be a stunt driver to even get into the gate of the hotel. A sub compact barely fits. I suggest they somehow expand the parking so the cars easily fit into the gate and lot.

I had stayed here about 20 years ago. This time we stayed in on of the petit rooms which was more than adequate for the two of us. The staff was very accommodating with helping with dinner reservations since the chateau was totally booked for the next two nights. We had great Dionne's in Amboise. A table opened up due to a cancelation our second night. We had an excellent dinner with very attentive service.
