Ok, the windows were original and not particularly sound proof so it was a little noisy, but this didn’t bother us. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely sitting rooms….. The reception area was charming, and the check-in staff, efficient. The stairs are steep, but we were forewarned and do not carry a lot of luggage, so it was manageable. "Great overnight stay. The hotel is conveniently situated at the entrance to the city so easy to park and then a 10 minute walk into the centre along the river. Good sized room (we had a family room) which was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but it did look nice so we definitely do that next time. Lovely outside pool area and a really friendly welcome. We love Orleans so this is a great stopover for us"
