"We had a wonderful stay. Great location and a quick drive over the bridge to Anna Maria Island. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We really enjoyed our balcony marina view and spotted manatees! The pool was a good size and not too crowded with attentive pool side service. "The Hotel is very clean and the decoration is gorgeous. The room was really cute and decorated with a modern style. Beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice. Breakfast was great and tasty. Also we ate at the Hotel Restaurant and food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and nice. Check in and out was smooth . Location was perfect and close to the Sarasota Mall, Restaurants and great beaches. Me and my daughter loved it so much. We recommend it one hundred percent."

"We loved our stay at Zota! The beach was one of our favorite parts—clean, calm, and not crowded at all. The water was crystal clear and the temperature was perfect. The food was excellent, much better than we expected, and the service throughout our stay was warm and friendly. A small issue came up with our final bill, but the hotel handled it professionally, and we really appreciated their prompt help."

"Everything was great! Things to think about before you book. Ask if your rental is on the beach side or across the street. I didn’t realize there were both, and get two rooms if you need them. The pull out couch is not comfy even for kids. None of this was the fault of Cedar Cove just trying to help out the next person. Overall very satisfied!!!"

"I love that the property is located directly across the beach within walking distance. And they also have beach chairs and umbrellas as well (get there early or later in the afternoon). The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and the amenities were fun. My husband and toddler and infant stayed here so I’d definitely say it was family friendly. "There is nothing better than a nice pool and beach within a short walking distance. The resort has beach chairs and umbrellas set up every morning that are first come, first serve. We would go back in a heart beat."

"Staff in restaurants were somewhat accommodating. We asked to change our reservation from 2 to 4 people in the Riva restaurant. We were informed they could only take us at 8:10. We said ok, then the manager of Riva said no, not until 9:00 is there an open table. Then the concierge informed me he could get it changed. Not great communication amongst staff. Food in Riva was ok. All in all, it was a good experience."

"Room was definitely not cleaned. Dirty napkins and just generally not wiped down. Solo cups left from the previous guest on the back deck. The views and location were awesome. Also no guarantee in getting a beach front umbrella in front of the rooms. People come early and reserve spots with towels and then maybe they show up maybe not."
