"We stayed one night at Tante Arlette and got a warm welcome and a drink. We had booked a superior room, but were a bit disappointed that it had no external window. The cleaning was also not perfect and there were spots on the madrass. Otherwise the room was ok. We decided to eat at the hotel but were surprised when the food arrived before we had selected from the menu. Apparently what we would eat was decided for us. That said, it tasted great. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Green Lizard. The property was very clean, well appointed, quiet and peaceful, appeared as described and most importantly the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us great "local" information that is hard to find in booklets or on-line reviews. If you are looking for a location near beaches, local restaurants and easy driving to other areas, The Green Lizard is perfect. We highly recommend."
