"Nice location and a clean place to stay. But if you are planning on walking to the ancient city of Sigiriya it’s a 30 min walk from the hotel. Not a 1 min walk as advertised. The service was good but the food was at best average, specially dinner “À la carte”. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety which was good but the food was average. Good for a short stay."

"I stayed here 10 years ago and it was wonderful. The “bones” are great but “cracks” are appearing. The rooms are generous and the property and vistas are beautiful. The property, rooms and facilities are beginning to look a little tired and the staff are struggling. The swimming pool and spa are a long way away but there used to be buggies to pick you up especially during the heat of the day. Phones not working so room service was difficult. "We had an absolute great time, i must say the level of customer service was excellent and 5 star, ranging from oir porters, to front desk to the ladies and gents who served us and worked in the restaurant!! Well done!! We shall be back again, beautiful relaxing location as well!!"

"My husband and I thought this was really neat. It's almost as though we were in the middle of the jungle. Gorgeous garden and pool. You'll also see some monsters, frogs and lizard! Staff were very v friendly we arrived almost 10pm our first night and they were willing to serve us dinner! We were grateful after a long day with no food! We would recommend it if you're in sigiriya! "
