"14 Tage Sommer, Sonne und viel Spaß. Ein tolles Zuhause auf Zeit hat den Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Das Haus von Familie Fox ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem und es ist sehr ruhig. Der kurze Weg an den See und die Wandermöglichkeiten drum herum sind super. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einwandfrei und sehr freundlich. Allem in allem ein sehr sehr schöner Urlaub."

Allerdings ist man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, denn im nahen Ortskern gibt es außer ein paar, bei uns leider geschlossenen Geschäften nichts nennenswertes. Außerhalb der Saison ist es außerdem schwierig, Aktivitäten im näheren Umkreis zu finden. Da hilft natürlich das inkludierte Schwimmbad, das allerdings auch oft zu gut besucht ist. "The House (Seeschwalbe) are quite nice, space for 2 adults and 2 children and the kitchen and bathroom are good and functional. The site itself is very nice with alot of facilities and a good restuarant with fair prices. However you have to pay for the electricity, and quite a large amount. However, this is not a central location and a bit pretentious by claiming this to be paradise. The atmosphere was very formal. WiFi did not work in the rooms and was even very slow in the lounge - simply not good enough."

Lovely little hotel
"Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. The sauna area which we had to ourselves was certainly a highlight - being able to use it for 3 hours on our last day after check out was a great way to end the weekend. All in all, would happily recommend the place - centrally located in the old town of Waren from where you have a few restaurants you can get to as well.."
