"Our hosts greeted us very nicely and were responsive to our messages about our arrival time and our request for information about the municipal water issue that occurred on one of the days we were there. The house is much nicer in actuality than what you see in the photos, and so is the garden. It is an old stone house with thick walls, so it was colder in the first floor of the house than outside (upstairs is cozier). The area is very interesting, we enjoyed it. "Everywhere was spotless. Staff were lovely. Room very well appointed. The only (very) minor point to raise is we would liked some more English speaking TV channels or even Netflix. "

"Comfortable room though a bit small. My only complaint was the poor design of the shower that let water get all over the bathroom floor every time you used it. The hotel food was decent and very fairly priced (especially compared to other hotels). Breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold foods. And they'd toast you up a panini sandwich whenever you wanted one, along with draft beer. The staff were very helpful and polite."
