Beautiful hotel, well kept, the food was good, sadly the beer garden was closed and under construction

The manager Filip was very kind and knowledgeable! The dining experience was absolutely superb. If I could give more stars, I would. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented! Michael also made our breakfast experience smooth and easy. The staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay at Burg Colmberg. We had wanted a hotel with old world charm but were not expecting such modern amenities in the rooms, too! The setting itself is lovely and the castle is fun to wander through as there are interesting public rooms to explore. From the moment we pulled up, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. This was a perfect location. It is literally just a half block from the charming old town gate entrance.The rooms were very nice. It was a vintage building with modern rooms. The shared space was a nice touch. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. We had a fantastic stay and felt very well taken care of throughout our visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, amazing stay. Property is absolutely beautiful and was super well taken care of. We arrived late at night and got some pizzas at the conveniently located Bar. Traveling with a family of 5. Spa facility was amazing, kids had a great time at the pool and the saunas were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly. The best place we stayed during our 2 week travel in Bavaria. The hotel has two buildings. We stayed in the historic one, and the ambience is charming. The newer one, where the checkin desk is located, is also nice. Both hotel restaurants offer great dinner options. The breakfast (served in the newer building) is excelent -- one again, the best in these two weeks. The location is most central. Parking: you can park overnight for free in the street just nearby, during the day it is 2 hour limit....

We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return.

This was a most pleasant experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of English was wonderful. The hotel was clean and friendly looking. The restaurant offered home made food that was delicious. The location was good. It was in a suburb, close to buses and UBahn and SBahn. So we could ride into Nuremberg without having to look for a parking place. Because this is a country inn, it had no elevators, but the staff was very helpful in getting suitcases up to the room.
