Each suite is owned or hosted by a different individual, but all are part of the Ikonia franchise with a manager. The quality of each suite varies significantly and depends on what the host or owner chooses to offer. Some suites have minimal kitchen appliances, while others feature old, torn bed sheets and pillowcases, rock-hard pillows, outdated non-slip-resistant floor mats, and microwaves lacking microwave-safe containers. The food from the restaurant is of poor quality, and even the staff admit that guests typically do not eat there. For properties with more than four floors, there is no elevator; however, safe parking for only four cars total is available. The staff are friendly and say the right words, but lack the resources to offer great service, as they depend on what the host provides. Overall, it is a two-star establishment pretending to be three stars. The location is ideal, just a few minutes' drive from the city center and other attractions. If you are not particular about high quality, it is worth a try.

Kisumu, Kenya, I enjoyed this place. Great breakfast. Thumbs up. OK, here is a heads up for an American, here an all-inclusive breakfast does not include coffee. Think British, tea is included, however coffee, no. Again, just a heads up, great place though.

As always, our stay in Kisumu was excellent and welcoming by the staff. Pricey breakfast but very well done and prepared.(2,500 Kshs each). Lovely pastries at the coffee shop, if you are so tempted. Keep it up!!! Will be back, of course

Highly recommend!!!! Staff were excellent and so clean. Breakfast was so good. We were a group of 7 and they were so good to us. Everyone spoke excellent English. We definitely Will be back again.

Helpful and courteous staff

They were very helpful, from the greeter at arrival, to the receptionist and the restaurant was great.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Africa. It is an absolute jewell, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it is great being right above the Rupa mall. The gym and swimming pool are also excellent and I spent a lot of time out on the patio outside the bar relaxing and working
