There are several rivers of varying difficulty in Tena, Ecuador. I'm not sure the name of this river, but we had all class III and IV rapids. It was a great day out -- about 4 hours to get down the river.

"Everything at the lodge was good but could have been great with improved communication. Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. At the end of the day, the four of us were left alone at the river bank for 45 minutes waiting for he bus...

"Spacious and comfortable suites. Modern and beautifully appointed rooms. Attractive and spacious hotel reception and a large breakfast buffet. This hotel offers an exceptionally comfortable stay at a very good price. The shuttle driver met us at the airport and the drive to the hotel was only approx 8 minutes. Staff are helpful, polite, smart. I loved everything about our stay at EB. "

"The staff were incredibly friendly. The good was very good. They provided transportation to and from the airport. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport and about 40 minutes from the city of Quito (without traffic). There isn't much to do in the area of the hotel, but the hotel does have many things to do (pool, lawn games, pickleball etc)."
