The location is very convenient, and the property has been newly renovated. The interior is clean, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly and even offered us vouchers for local activities, which was a lovely surprise. There were only two minor drawbacks. First, in our room type, all the bedrooms were upstairs while the only toilet was downstairs, which was a little inconvenient, especially at night. The property seemed very new. Clean, bright, comfortable with nice extras— a free pass to the fitness center just a few yards away, free laundry services. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we ordered a birthday breakfast for the room, the staff cam up singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with a piece of cake , candles and ice Cream. Ludi at the front desk was especially helpful. The food at the restaurant/room service was very very good.

We stayed for three nights on a skiing holiday as a winter break. The accommodation was very warm and spacious. The location is out of town but there is a shuttle which we appreciated.

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

A great place to stay in Christchurch. Conveniently located off the main road to the airport. Access to sights and activities is excellent. Also easy to get to some great cafes,restaurants, and shopping areas. Staff are super nice and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Bill and Pat went above and beyond to make my stay excellent. Rooms are quiet and comfy and have a full kitchenette. Some also have spa tubs. Highly recommend the Airport Palms.

It is a bit of a hike if you want to walk to town, but the accommodations were wonderful. Great view, and could hear waves lapping the lake at night. Very nice.

This hotel was an absolute dream. It was a perfect combination of luxury and peace. I will absolutely be returning here. It was my birthday, and they were so sweet to me! Everything was clean, and we had a beautiful view, the food was delicious, we had a lovely time. Again, highly recommend.

Loved the private outside hot tub, completely private . Plenty of water to fill it between uses. The room is spacious. The bathroom was modern and the shower impeccable with glass enclosure. We always bring the our own coffee machine but there were other options for coffee. It was close to all amenities and attractions. The staff was super accommodating. I did t use the stove but fridge was spacious for our needs.

What a delightful motel and such friendly and helpful staff. We were glad we chose this property. It was convenient for walking downtown to the Rugby Museum and lots of shops. The room was well appointed and my husband said it had the most comfortable lounge chair/seating of any property we had been in during our month of travel. Laundry and full kitchen in the apartment-style rooms were excellent. Sauna/spa/pool was a great addition.

The room was quite large and the ocean view was outstanding. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to dinner, the parks, the main street and the aquarium. We had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.
