"Don't expect a bed as comfortable as a futon in Japon. Really thin mattress, hard floor. We asked an additional one for more comfort but they request additional fees... At the beginning 1 for free and 1 to pay then finally 10000W for both. So we reject. Nothing in the room to sit down expect the floor....really nice exterior and well situated but our room was not really comfortable and bathroom was just ok."

The only thing I would ask the hotel to improve is the bathroom lighting. There’s only one light and it was too dark for ladies’morning makeup rituals. One thing I really appreciated was that if you arrive early, they offer free secure luggage storage lockers where you can store your bags, lock them, and take the key with you while you explore. They also offer free laundry as long as you have your own detergent, but if you don’t, they have detergent available for purchase for only 2,000 KRW. The location was also perfect...

They gave us useful guidance about places to see in and around Gyeongju. The owner helped us find good places for dinner and suggested local foods to try.
