"Wow ... we had an amazing 2-night experience at Soi Hanok. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities that you need (microwave, fridge, TV, wireless speakers, shower, heated bidet toilet, heated flooring and air conditioning). The bed was super comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful, peaceful and quiet - we actually rented hanboks and did a photoshoot in the courtyard. The host, Sue, was fantastic in greeting us and giving us recommendations. She was so kind...

The only thing I would ask the hotel to improve is the bathroom lighting. There’s only one light and it was too dark for ladies’morning makeup rituals. There’s no other proper mirrors in the room for an alternative. We had a lunch Buffett and it was pricey but well worth it. The quality of the food...

"Location is a 10 minute walk to intercity bus station and 15 minutes to the historical area and tomb parks. The room was surprisingly quiet for the central location. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious with very good climate control. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was adequate. It was free and easy to park our rental car. Overall, it was a great choice if not staying in a hanok in the historic village."

"Great stay at the Rivertain which is conveniently placed near many of the tourist attractions like the tomb complexes. Its also right next to the intercity bus terminal with the bus stop for rides around Gyeongju just 5mins away. The hotel itself is nice and clean, the room is spacious Water drainage in the shower was a little slow but otherwise everything was perfectly fine Staff are lovely Would recommend staying here"

"Loved this place! A bit of a walk from the bus terminal but easy to find. Super close to the main tourist street but also very secluded and quiet. The room was perfect for a solo travel. Bed was very comfortable. Amenities include K-beauty face and eye masks! Bathroom is a typical Korean style bathroom (no tub and floor drainage) but slippers are provided. There were other rooms with tenants but a strict sound policy so it is really quiet. The host prepares a simple breakfast with really good...

"The shower setup was the stupidest that I have ever seen. It was not enclosed, so the water went end up all over the floor. Also, there were no switches near the beds to control the lights so you would have to get out of bed turn off the lights and climb back into bed in the dark."

"Mr and Mrs Kim who run the Hanok Inn are wonderful people. We forgot something in our room when we left and Mrs. Kim arranged to have it brought to me in Busan. She is so lovely and the room was beautiful, the breakfast delicious. Five star stay. Highly recommended. "
