"1 - This hotel is not worth the money. 2 - The rooms are exceptionally hot and the air con does not go to down far enough to deal with this. I had 4 exceptionally uncomfortable nights in this hotel. 3 - The breakfast is a shambles. Far too busy and and not enough seating. having to ask for a cappuccino and for fried eggs to be made is disappointing at a major hotel like this. The items are all laid out in a disorganised way with people getting in everyone's way. 4 - Bar closed around midnight...

"Betty, the host was very accommodating allowed us to check in early and also upgraded our room. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and provided welcome snacks, water and coffee. The hotel is close to bus and train station and walking distance for sightseeing."

"The gentleman that checked us in was amazing. The room was less than what we expected. Needs freshened up. Lots of staining on walls,air conditioning not working properly and the washroom was small. We left a day early and did not stay out second night that was already prepaid. When we checked out we explained why we were leaving early(without requesting any refunds) I let the lady at the desk know that we drank 2 bottles of water from the mini bar. She expressed her sympathy for our discontent...

"Stayed at Astera for three days and it was absolutely perfect. Super clean new-looking spacious rooms. Tons of towels and amenities and I had a gorgeous balcony. All that for 60 euro a night is crazy. My flight back from Skopje got cancelled so they also generously offered me two more night last second with the same rate so they saved my life there! I tried the breakfast once too a lot of variety and fruits and eggs. Highly recommend!!"
