"Very nice and clean modern rooms. There is self check in and you don’t interact with any staff, which was fine. The bathroom was very clean, the shower was great with variable pressure and very warm. I appreciated they had a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and there was a smart TV which was nice at the end of the day! There is a small fridge in the room but in the dining area, there is a large fridge and microwave for you to use. There’s even a hot tub. It was the best hotel we’ve stayed at...

"One night stayed the room was very clean, looks like newly renovated. however there was no shampoos and conditions so we had to pick up from the store. "

"Vi hadde det veldig bra, rommet er rent, sengen er behagelig, huset som hotell Edda bruker er på vinterstid brukt som hjemme for studenter som kommer fra alle steder fra landet for å studere på Akureyri. Det er felles baderom og wc men allt er rent og tjenesten er på topp, veldig hyggelig folk som jobber som vil gjøre allt til at du har det som best."

"Das Hotel hat aufgrund seiner Lage und Architektur einen besonderen Flair. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Das Angebot in der Speisekarte beschränkte sich auf jeweils vier Menüs aus den Kategorien "Groß" und "Klein". Da es automatisch als Vorspeise Pro Person 2 dicke Scheiben leckeres Brot mit einer sehr leckeren Butter, dif mit Skyr vermischt war, gab, bin ich auch mit der Kategorie "Klein" gut satt geworden. Uns beiden hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich...

"Great service, especially the hotel manager, she was fantastic! At nightime, during the midnight sun, when all the tour buses and travelers are gone,you have the whole waterfall to yourself. It is was my favorite waterfall in Iceland. The food is good, the beds are clean, spend at least two nights there to truely enjoy the area. "
