"I loved the unique way the hotel room was decorated in federation colours. The bathroom modern and very functional with a very deep bath and 2 shower head options. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linen. We felt at home staying here at the Styene. Although the breakfast could be improved on and some of the furniture in the dining area is very worn and cushion need to be replaced . "

"Stayed for 2 nights with 2 kids.. great location..ocean view suite..room was clean and big enough for the kids and has all modern amenities..we were on level 1 and the balcony opens to ocean view.. unfortunately the roof of the bar under the balcony was being repaired so there were some privacy issues.. Only feedback the toilet seat was cheap plastic which squeaked a lot and we were worried of it will crack.. Bar and bistro under had good options and cheaper as well.lot of restaurants as well...

"Convienient location within a good walking distance to the ferry and beaches. Plenty of local shops to choose from to eat as well as local supermarkets. The front reception area is a bit tight for space. The staff at the front desk were always friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The building corridors, and stairways feel quite dark. There seems to be a good large space upstairs available to socialize. "

"Rosemary and Colin were wonderful hosts. They were so polite and friendly, but not intrusive at all. They both worked together so well to cook an amazing 3 course dinner and "to order" breakfast, it was very impressive and the property was beautiful too. Would highly recommend. "
