"Overall nice property for traveling with kids / family. Definitely expensive for what you get. There’s a big hill and they do have a golf cart to reach your rooms, but they take 3 hours just to pick you up. Showers were the whole bathroom, so you have to you the bathroom 1 at the time. We sent our clothes for laundry morning he day prior to check out, they didn’t have our laundry ready till the next day aftwr we checked out. And the laundry was wet"

"I recently stayed at the Grand Eastern Hotel in Labasa and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I booked for two nights but had to check out a day early due to a serious maintenance issue. The bathroom hand basin pipe was damaged and leaking continuously, creating a loud noise that made it impossible for my family to sleep. "Nice location and brilliant view. But I wouldn't recommend Daku Resort to anyone. The whole place is a mess inside and out. Very poorly maintained. Rooms very filthy. Paints faded everywhere. Broken tiles inside the Bure. Being a house owner, I can personally say that the whole resort hasn't been painted for more then 10 years. It's definitely not worth the money that I had paid to stay there for 2 nights. Reception closes after 9pm and there is no security onsite. You are on your own after...

"Unfortunately the room had a leaking toilet. No antenna on the TV, therefore not working. Kitchen very small. Room although clean but requires better furniture. Pillows uncomfortable.
