"The hotel is in an idyllic location very near the south coast of Tromoy island, with a pebbly beach and cafe within easy walking distance and a petrol station/shop and also supermarket within a mile or two. It is on Google Maps which is how we navigated our rented car there - our car sat nav did not know how to reach it! "We have stayed at Stav many times, has been OK, and very convenient being on E6 as we visit by car. This time: Staff was not "joyful", quite the opposite. The room (#101) was cold on arrival, the view non-existent as the only window was against a concrete-wall, the elevator make a lot of "weird" noises which made us uncomfortable, and it was obvious that the whole Hotel was in need of upgrading and upkeeping."
