"We chose this hotel as it was close to the ferry terminal but not within Calais itself. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was really nice. Reminded us of a ships cabin. Large enough with everything we’d need for a short stay. King bed was comfortable, ensuite even had a bath. Safe and easy parking right outside, and only a short walk to Cite d’Europe shopping centre. "

"We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Check in quick and simple. No need to register our car as it was a secure and private car park and no parking charge. The car park was locked at about 22:00hrs but a code was provided to allow exit/entry if needed. We had booked a superior room and it was. Very large room, separate toilet and shower, two televisions, tea and coffee making facilities including a coffee pod machine and a 'fridge with complimentary drinks. "This was not our first time here, the hotel looks as if it has been painted. Our room on the first floor was great, bathroom with bath and nice towels. Needs a little TLC around the skirting. Then it would be perfect. Food as always was wonderful with a good breakfast spread, including hot scrambled eggs etc. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Thanks, we will be back."
