"No frills tourist hotel in the heart of Lakefield."

"Beth was a very gracious host. The camper was clean and well appointed. The grounds was spacious. There were outdoor games (connect 4 and Tetris). Beth even showed my toddler her chicken coup!"

"Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. "This is a charming little cottage on the host’s lakefront property with a beautiful lake view, an outdoor sitting area perfect for reading by the water, and shared dock access to kayaks, canoes and water activities. The host, Mark, is extremely friendly and helpful, and generously provided everything I could possibly need. The cottage itself was cozy and spotless. This was a perfect, quiet weekend getaway, and I can’t wait to come again."
