"We’ve been staying at the Ramada Shoal Bay for 10 years now and just love it! Great location right on the beach with views over the bay and Tomaree headland. Restaurants, cafes and bars on the doorstep. Unbeatable!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and we are happy with our room (a 2BR and 2 bathrooms) overlooking the pool. The pool and sauna are great. The only downside was the gym because it was very small (our eldest son is a regular gym goer), and also the check-in time was 3 PM (not 2 PM like others), so we had to wait near the pool for our room. The location near the marina, Wollis, dining precinct and Two Bobs bakery (must have). We will come back!"

"We stayed at this Airport hotel because all the other hotels in Newcastle were full. Despite that, we had a lovely stay. The foyer & rooms were spacious, super-clean & very comfortable. The staff at reception and in the dining/breakfast room were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. It provided a really lovely, luxe first night for our road trip up the coast."
