"Beautiful hotel. Great room for a family of 4. The breakfast buffet very good with many options. Friendly staff. The property has Pizotes which are cute animal fun to watch. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Monteverde. Nice pool area but I only wished they had a Hot Tub. "

"The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Our cabin overlooked the trees with birds galore. Plenty of trails around the property with a fish hatchery, flowers, fruit, etc. we opted for breakfast the first day but didn’t realize we were to tell them on the next day. Not sure what happened. Defiant would stay again. Pool was freezing so we couldn’t enjoy it very much when we were there. "

"As a female traveller, I felt completely safe here and would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Monteverde. Great place for a solo traveller with a communal kitchen to help keep down expenses of eating out. WiFi in all the rooms. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful 😊 My only complaint would be the floors in my room hadn't been cleaned (but in fairness it's a 2 star hostel, not a 5 star hotel). "They accommodated our request for first floor since there is no elevator. Room did not have a TV or a dresser. It did have a stream running outside our window which was lovely. Good at the restaurant was exceptional. "
