Beach Hotels in Puttalam District from AED44

"We booked this hotel for our last night in Sri Lanka and it was by far the most rundown hotel we have stayed in. We booked the most expensive ($260 per night) room that they offered “ beach villa”. The room was in poor condition and looked nothing like a villa. Tv didn’t work and bed sheets were old and room was not clean. Ac blows directly on the bed so you can choose to either be freezing or be super hot. The hotel is on the beach but far from easy access to anything near by. Dinning options...

"Lovely settings with views out to sea but a bit remote if you like to be near town. Lots of dogs prowling around coming up off the beach Good outdoor lawn area and pool. Our room was clean but pretty old. Probably needs a refit. Good friendly staff."

When we came, we didn't get any time to land. The manager was in a rush and it was not comfortable. We had an amazing room, a 'tentalow' but everything was a little bit wet. "Actually with GOOGLE MAPS GPS , it was difficult to locate the place but lucky we asked someone who happened to work there and we followed him. Location nice..rooms very big high ceilings... Good lighting except for the bathroom which needs some lighting by the mirror for shaving. View magnificent and Saman the Manager was very friendly and liked my pictures I took there. Probably one of the nicest places I stayed in Sri Lanka. They are building a nice swimming pool ..will be for next time.....
