"Another wonderful trip to Banana Wind cottage on Cat Island Bahamas! Stephanie is a great host. Communication is very straightforward and easy. Harrison the caretaker is wonderful! He is also a walking history book for the island. The Banana Wind back yard is literally the ocean. Beautiful reef and snorkeling right out back. Sunsets around the corner past Da Pink Chicken or if you care to take a drive, Rolle’s Beach has a beautiful and unspoiled beach and sunsets there are magical! Just feel like I should give the normal word of caution- This is the wild and wonderful out islands. This is not a resort. The stars are amazing, close encounters with wild sea turtles, mantas and fish are a reality. There are also mosquitoes, power outages and limited dining opportunities. Meals can be provided. Just ask Harrison. We enjoy fresh fish, lobster, homemade jerked chicken and local foods like Mary’s stuffed land crabs for our daily fare. Enjoy!!"

"This property was amazing. Just as it was advertised. The house manager was awesome and very prompt with answering all text and issues. The home was very clean and spacious. My family of 6 had a great time with our feeling in top if each other. Sometimes, the power would go out but there is a generator on site. We love all the toys and games on site ads all. Thank you so much for an amazing time. We will definitely book again the next time we travel to Cat Island."

"John and Cassandra's place is exactly what we were looking for. The second we walked in, it was clear this was a home, not a rental. Every room had its own personality, quaint, charming, and you knew you were in a place that was loved. The ocean view was unreal and the beach was literally right outside the door.Communication was seamless and John, Cassandra, and their house manager David were a pleasure to deal with. No hassle, no chasing anyone down. Just amazing people who take care of their guests. Do yourself a favor and book this place."
