What a wonderful stay we had. Helen and her team could not have been more helpful. The pickup from the train and drop off was perfect, Helen helping us with our luggage. Sitting in the beautiful courtyard was a real pleasure. The rooms give you a complete taste of old china whist enjoying the lovely equipped bathroom, and comfortable authentic bed. Added to this the beautiful city of pingyao. Highly recommended the elsewhere hotel and pingyao. :) xx

Nice, quiet and close to major shopping areas etc

Fabulous hotel. Incredible breakfast. Wonderful staff, so kind, friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Only 10 minutes from the train by DiDi and only 10 minutes walk to the old city wall. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends. Perfect stay.

Nice hotel

The hotel is lovely, in a traditional courtyard-style house. It is beside the north gate, just inside the ancient town, so the location is great. Alice was fantastic, collected us from the train station and gave us lots of tips on places to visit and eat. We had a great two-night stay, highly recommended!

Excellent service and all staffs are super friendly, location is at the center of old town. Highly recommend if you go to Datong.

The hotel’s location was ideal – just a short walk from popular attractions and easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the area. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a wide range of fresh and delicious options to start the day. I also enjoyed the complimentary evening happy hour, which added a special touch to the experience. Overall, the cozy yet elegant atmosphere made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with wonderful service and beautiful surroundings.
