Just be mindful that there is no taxi or car service offered if you are wanting to tour the winery’s and we did feel that it was a little over priced for what it was compared with other places we have stayed but still a very nice place and lovely experience "

"The Room was excellent for a beach location in a reasonably remote Area. The Breakfast is unbelievably Good , incredible !. We had an issue with our overall Trip due to a Storm. The Host - “ Anna “ was incredibly Helpful to us sorting out some alternative arrangements. I would recommend a stay at Windrose if you find yourselves in “ Denmark “."

"We have just spent five nights at The Studio, over the Easter long weekend, and had a fantastic time away. The Studio was perfect for our needs (we are a family of four, including two teenagers) and very comfortable (including very comfortable beds) and the perfect location as it is walking distance to the heart of Denmark. Although there no inbuilt cooker, there were plenty of gadgets for us to be able to prepare and cook meals, including electric frypan, an electric hot plate, microwave etc,...

"Entry and house keys a jumbled mess on keyring. Lack of Lighting on front verandah makes it almost impossible to enter key code. Middle of winter, no wood supplied for indoor potbelly fire. (Two old electric heaters which were totally inadequate to heat open plan living area ). Bedroom 1. Electric blanket not working on one side, bedside lamp light flickering on and off. Mould on ceiling in bathroom. Microwave broken (turntable not rotating) Lighting so dim inside you couldn't even see to...

"It need to see where it is from the road maybe a sign near road saying where number 8 is as it was dark when got there but couldnt find it for a while apart from that very nice stay ."

"Older style chalet as per the area that was clean and well presented. Everything works and it has a wood heater but you will need to bring wood. Great for an old style weekend away from everything.Note, there is bore water to the bathroom vanity and kitchen hot tap, with tank water to the shower and kitchen cold tap."

"Basic house with no Wifi. Lacking in a few essential home comforts such as dishwasher or hair dryer, bread knife and games. TV was old and reception poor. Backyard is big with sun in the afternoon but not a welcoming place to sit around. Mattresses were old. Fridge unplugged when we arrived. We appreciated the washing machine and the heat pump. The location is great, nice places to visit. With a few small improvements this could be a great holiday house. "

"The owners were lovely!! The place looked freshly renovated, was clean and well designed. If you’re looking for somewhere to completely switch off, this is it!! It’s about half way between Denmark and Walpole so if you want to visit both towns then this is perfectly located. Would definitely recommend ☺️"
