"Location is great! Gym is under CONSTRACTION and has only two (2) machines. The room is getting old and the curtains with a carpet are getting stained. If you pay $50-60 dollars it is fine, but no more than that. Easy walk 15-20 minutes from Sandton train station. A driver Isic available to take anyone. "Absolutely loved my stay here. I visited South Africa for a conference, which was held at Birchwood. The team are incredibly friendly and helpful. I would go as far as to say it was some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced at a hotel in years. The complex is peaceful and beautiful, and the rooms are large. The restaurant is great, food was fantastic, and the support we received for the conference was exceptional. I’d definitely stay at Birchwood again if u return to South Africa"
