"The house was spotless. Our host was attentive and always available. The equipment is a little outdated. The location could not be bettered. Unless you want a “ Sandals” experience ( go to the Gap), it is the most perfect place to stay. You need a car to enjoy it most. "

"Our first trip to Barbados and we chose the Royalton Essence. Its a brand new resort and so we got a big discount for coming during soft launch. The report is amazing with beautiful rooms and a swimable beach great for snorkeling. The staff are the highlight of the resort. The people are amazingly friendly and they go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. There is entertainment throughout the day and at night. Everyone we met had a great time. We will be back!"

"The hotel has a lovely location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the food, particularly breakfast. It used to be so good but has gone downhill. This wouldn’t put me off returning because the bedroom refurbishment is greatly improved and the staff are so nice."

"Mango Bay Resort is in a great area with a beautiful beach, access to great restaurants, and within short driving distance to scenic, historical, and nature reserves. The staff is very accommodating, and I sincerely hope they are paid adequately."

"They did not honor my availability to upgrade me since I’m A gold VIP member , I was extremely disappointed …the place looked so empty ,but overall it was well maintained with beautiful location and if you not there before 4pm there’ll be nobody there to greet you or to assist, so get there early lol"

"We have just returned from our first stay at Cobblers Cove, and our first visit to Barbados. "This is a remarkable property. The family run hotel is small enough that you feel and are treated like family, but large enough that you have so much to do. The tennis clinic that is offered free every day is awesome (Jose rocks). There is snorkeling on site and the service staff is second to none. Most importantly, Nigel is the best. He planned many excursions for us and helped us with restaurant choices. And Michelle at the front desk was also very helpful when our plane ride home was...

"We stayed (with friends) for in early April. The weather was great and we really enjoyed the snorkeling. The sun was more intense than we expected so take precautions. As for the Sandpiper - we've never stayed at a place with a nicer and more helpful staff. Everyone was great and they got to know us.
