"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Battaleys Mews Villa monkey puzzle, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a home that perfectly blended comfort, luxury, and convenience. The home offered a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility being close to Speightstown and the beach. The house itself was impeccably maintained and beautifully decorated. Every room was thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Being in the Hospitality industry, I was very pleased with the entire experience. Marcia, the property manager was exceptional, providing clear communication from the moment of booking until check-out. The attention to details was certainly noticeable and truly enhanced the experience. We had not been in Barbados for a while and the Battaleys Mews monkey puzzle home was the perfect getaway for our family vacation. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future."

"Port St Charles is an amazing place. Sea turtles and various species of fish swim and play amongst the boats parked at the marina. Our 3 kids (13,11,9) never got tired of walking the docks each day to see what they could see. We were there in the off season, and it was very quiet. A perfect time to watch the marine life. Every day we used the water taxi to take us to Pier 1 restaurant. We ate great meals and used the beach chairs on the deck. We went snorkelling and swam with sea turtles. We swam across the channel from Pier 1 to the beach there and watched the wide variety of boats come in and out of the lagoon at Port St Charles. Our two bedroom apartment was cleaned to perfection every day. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels for all of us. The gym at Port St Charles is excellent and is fully air conditioned. The ONLY negative for us was that one of the bedrooms had windows with wooden slats that allowed the hot air into the room. The room did have an air conditioner and a fan, but they were not effective during a week of high heat and humidity. To be fair, I did not raise this issue with the front desk. We were all tired out at the end of each day, so the kids passed out every night with no complaining. We all loved our room and its location and did not want to move to another room, so we tolerated it and had a great week. I only mention it so others are aware. Port St Charles is a wonderfully unique experience. Stay here if you can!"

"From the moment we met Sarah the housekeeper to when we left, everything about Coco de mer was fantastic. The property is beautifully furnished and very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony is stunning and the beach could not be much closer. The local restaurants and shops are all within an easy stroll. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely stay at Coco de mer again when we return to Barbados. "The property is just a short walk from Heywoods beach and a lovely bar called the Cabose which serves fantastic cutters, the property is very comfortable but would benefit from having aircon throughout, also a little tired in places a lick of paint would sort that out. Over all though a good price and friendly locals."

"Our host Nicole had everything covered to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was inviting and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Nicole also provided beach towels, beach chair and an umbrella so we could enjoy the beach to the fullest. Couldn't have asked for anything more, it was perfect!"

"Stayed for 10 nights. A perfect location, everything as it says in the write up, spacious and nice. There is a bit of noise and traffic (but not to much of a problem)as it’s on a one way street and there is Baia restaurant, Sand Street Bristo and Canoose fish boat which sells fish cutters/drinks and has a lovely atmosphere, there are all on the same street. I miss the parking garage because it’s off the main street and down a side road in front of Baia restaurant,so be careful with that. I enjoy my stay and Sonjia was a perfect housekeeper. I would highly recommend it and stay there again."
