"Stopped over whilst on business. Check in was great, the room was as good as I’ve seen and everything seemed brand new. Free car charging was a great bonus too. One very minor thing was they had super soft pillows or rock hard ones and nothing in between. "

"We chose the hotel fairly randomly as we had a voucher to use. It is family owned and it is clear that the family and the staff put in a huge amount of effort to make everyone's stay as good as it can possibly be. It is really refreshing to see a hospitality business being run so well and making you feel so welcome after all the problems the industry has faced!"

"The stay was perfect from start to end. We didn’t want to leave and commented how nice it would have been to stay longer. The grounds were well kept, in a beautiful setting with the lake and canal. The staff were all very polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The rooms were quite considering there was a wedding on during our stay. The restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast had lots of choice. I was amazed by the adaptability for gluten free dining, which the staff fully understood and catered for. Recommended to others. "Stayed here for 1 night , easy free parking on arrival. Plenty of spaces. Receptionist very friendly. We used the park outside for the kids to wear off some energy after a long drive. Swimming and leisure facilities free to use with towels upto 9pm. We also used this facility. The changing rooms where tired, lockers didnt work and having some work been completed but they were clean. The room was fine what we needed. Bed very comfy, and the pillows too. Bathroom was small but refurbished and very clean. Free amenities if needed. The carpet was abit dated/ old but clean. We ate dinner and breakfast. Food was superb big portions, plenty of choice. Bartenders and waiters very friendly. Considering it was next to the motorway the room was quiet and the dining areas had lovely views. Would definitely stay here again for the price we paid it was brillaint . "
