"It was a great property"

"amazing resort, amazing staff (the nicest i’ve ever encountered) great amenities. i loved my stay here, would definitely come back to another riu in zanzibar in the future!"

"Absolutely first class holiday and resort. Food was exceptionally good, both in the a La Carte restaurants and the buffet, grounds were immaculate, staff were friendly and warm. The pool areas and raised beach were fabulous. If you had a question or needed help with something, dial 9 and reception staff sorted it without ever needing to leave your room. Without doubt one of our best holidays ever and we will be going back next year without a doubt. The only note of caution would relate to...

"Das Hotel ist traumhaft schön, Zimmer sind sauber, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Essen ist überall sehr gut und frisch!! Sehr zu empfehlen!!"

"The food was literally the same everyday. Some meal sessions their staff were taking food and jostling with the guests. No a great experience They forgot to read what Expedia transmitted in terms of payment and failed to apply payment at point of entry only to ring and upset my son by asking him to come and pay. My SPA session was put in someone else name and took two days and further intervention to have it rectified. I believe they will be very good if they pay attention to details more and...

"A place to feel at home – warm staff, real sustainability, stunning ocean views We spent 9 days at the Jaz Elite Aurora and were sad to leave. The hotel transfer (€100, approx. 1 hr 40 min) worked perfectly. Don’t worry if the last stretch looks remote: the hotel is new and the access road isn’t finished yet. We arrived at 10 am, were welcomed warmly, had breakfast right away and got our room by noon. The open, wall-free common areas with lots of wood feel very Zanzibar, and sustainability is...

"Overall the experience was positive. We arrived at midnight and staff was still readily available to assist. They even left a late night snack in our room upon arrival. If you are seeking a more laid back resort, it certainly fits the bill. I hoped for more activities available on site. The resort went into quiet mode after 10pm. Also I noticed they had a notification board for information but having daily itineraries either available in print in the room or on the tv would have been helpful....

"The property was very nice and the room was clean. The staff was courteous and the owner was very helpful. The room had no air conditioning and the power went off for about 4 hours in the middle of the night. It was very hot and difficult to sleep. Also the water pressure was barely a trickle making showering almost impossible. "

"This hotel completely ruined my expectations because I paid a very high price of $450 per night, and it was absolutely not worth the money. The food is terrible, the room is old, and even though it’s an all-inclusive hotel, the minibar in the room was completely empty. The hotel is also very boring, and the entertainment is awful — they keep doing the same things over and over again. The only good things about the hotel are its location and the pool. Other than that, everything is...

"Very beautiful property. Everyone was overly nice. They helped me everyday and I appreciate it."

"Camera nuova e molto pulita. Ampi spazi interni e bagno molto bello. Personale gentile ed efficente, buono il ristorante e bella anche la spiaggia, con un ampio spazio di sdraio sia a bordo piscina che oltre. Assolutamente consigliato"

"Loved our stay at Z2 Hotel! Staff are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful – which made Hotel Z and Z2 a standout property. You'll be greeted with warm smiles and a happy "Jambo" by everyone! Hotel Z is the main property, and Z2 is the sister property (where we stayed) right around the corner. Hotel Z2 offers the same access to the Z Hotel property including the pool and beach lounge area (pool-side service), gym, spa and access to the Z property restaurants and other beach-front resort...
