My room and the restaurant had breathtaking views of the sea, glossa village, and other islands. It’s not directly in Glossa, but you’ll need a car or motorbike to get around the island anyway. "Very welcoming. Great rooms (we had the 2 room suite for 3 adults with 2 showers room and toilet each) which was ideal. Not great for the infirm because of the hills and steps but the owners could not help that. Buses few and far between so needed a car unless a hiking fanatic."

"We were there in July and used the hotel as a base to visit the beaches in the Pilion - it worked well having a base up in the mountains to return to after a day at the beach. I have to admit, the lovely swimming pool was a drawcard, so it was disconcerting to receive an email from the hotel informing us that local temperatures would be 21-22 degrees during our stay! However we did use the pool, even though unheated, and wish we had spent more time in it. Quibbles: you had to pay a daily...
