"This place blew my mind! Staying in the Casbah was like stepping into a history book, but with a pool and bar. The rooms were comfortable, the location great and the included breakfast buffet a great way to start the day. Pretty good value too. My one complaint was, I felt, the staff didn’t go out of their way to help organize some day trips surrounding Kairouan that I was looking forward to. Other than that, I really enjoyed my time here!"

"We had a beautiful traditional room with a little step out balcony right above the entrance. This hotel is in the middle of everything! Souvenir shops around you, boumbalini (fried dough for dessert), a sandwich place (basically one of the main shopping areas) but not loud AT ALL. Dar Zarrouk (really nice restaurant for dinner) is very close, we ate there every night. Also, dont forget to spend time on the terrace. I got up every morning for sunrise and each time I went up there, I had the whole...
