"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It has everything you need in one place: a gym, restaurants, cafés, shops, and even a well-stocked market where you can buy groceries, breakfast items, lunch, or quick meals if you prefer to prepare something yourself. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of our favorite touches was that the hotel provides beach chairs and an umbrella for guests to take to the beach. Each building has its own beautiful swimming pool on the second floor, which made it feel peaceful and never overcrowded. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is perfect—just cross the street and you’re at the beach. It’s also within walking distance of many great beachfront restaurants along Seven Mile Beach, which we absolutely loved. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Location, location! Walk the driveway and you are right at Governors Beach - my favorite! I rented a 3BR unit for myself and my young daughters. We each had a bedroom with full bath and closet - it was so good. Laundry happened to be 3 doors down. Only did one load to freshen our beach towels. Machines were quick and efficient. You can dry wet items in the room. Airflow was great and the didnt stay damp. Note: Bath towel set does not include washcloths. Kitchen was decently appointed but some essentials were missing. No oven mitt despite extensive cookware options. Baking sheets and rolling pin but nothing to measure - just an FYI. They charge to clean the room unless you stay for 7 nights or more. We got a midweek clean included. There are no cleaning supplies included (paper towels, dish soap, etc. ) So plan to bring or buy. Also, the only appliances are coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Certainly a decent basic kitchen setup, but less than Im used to in a self-catering accomodation. Thats the only mark Im taking off! 9/10 We will likely consider for future visits to the island!"

"From the time we arrived service was Impeccable. The arrival drunks and cold towels. To our room with all the personal touches Champagne, fruit bowl, cookies. The nightly turndown with our cookies was lovely. Restaurants and staff were always nice. Loved the pool service setting our chairs up daily with all the amenities"

"We were there to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and the staff really went out of the way to congratulate us everywhere we went. I’m sure Clara at the front desk orchestrated the whole thing but where ever we went, a “Happy Anniversary!” was said and that made us feel special. All the staff were extremely hospitable and accommodating with every request. Definitely highly recommended. Thank you to Clara and Elliane for the amazing surprises they sent our way to celebrate us."

"This place is absolutely beautiful. It was comfortable and clean. I did not realize that this hotel was far from the downtown area, but it was very helpful that they had a shuttle that was available Monday through Friday (for free) which brought you to various locations throughout the city, the driver was amazing and he was extremely helpful when I ask questions about certain areas that were good to explore."

"What a wonderful and relaxing stay! It was the perfect place to unwind after 7 days at a timeshare resort. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff , especially Rose is amazing! Rose was very friendly and full of local recommendations! The pool and hot tub are a hidden oasis which we really enjoyed after a day of playing tourist. The common area was also very relaxing and the availability of a kitchen was exceptional. Nothing beat the morning coffee and enjoying it outside in the swing! We highly recommend Shangri La!"

"We loved the spacious unit and the view of the water. The beach was wonderful. Also, the recommendations provided by the host were spot on and great. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast and the start of the day. We will definitely go back -- The only "issue" was the complex did not have a swimming pool --"
