The service is absolutely exceptional. Every member of the staff has a pleasant smile and a heartfelt “Namaste” no matter whether you are in the dining areas, hallways or poolside. True Taj hospitality! They go out of their way to take care of every need the guests may have. I stayed for four nights during the busy time of Christmas, yet they gracefully made me feel the center of their attention!

Great hotel with lots of old school charm. The first day we had a beautiful room but not much of a view. As soon as we asked the manager, he promised to move us to a room with a view the next day (after some rooms became available). The room change happened while we were in one of the comfortable lounges looking outside and having Darjeeling tea and biscuits. After I had to change hotels I chose to come to the Yangthang Heritage. Not only did the accept my last minute booking but also prepared a room immediately. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful with painted carvings throughout and is only a short walk to the market road. The dining was very good. The true highlight of my stay was the service. The service was exceptional and above and beyond anywhere I've stayed. If my travels ever return me to Gangtok the Yangthang...

Hotel is awesome. Food is good. Near Airport and not too far from city. Only 25/30 minutes drive. Hotel staff are very friendly.

A beautiful heritage property located in a walkable, partial steep walk to pedestrianised shopping area with bars and restaurants, amazing views all around. Expect minor property age related issues and facilities. Excellent service from local based employees. Good food and lovely and friendly people.

Extremely satisfied with our stay at the Senses. The hotel staff was very prompt in their service and very helpful with all our requests. Inspite of a marriage reception taking place in the hotel and with all other guests, they made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh.
