Dan and Robin are very thoughtful and caring hosts. The location was very close to falling waters. The place was extremely clean and we were allowed to cook in the kitchen. The nearby town restaurants close early and you may want to take your own food for dinner. Breakfast is provided by the hosts. Only negative is the sound of trains nearby.

It was nice. It would be nicer if the Jacuzzi was under a covered porch.

The property was very nice, the rooms and amenities were very clean. It was a cute little spot, I recommend staying if you're in the area! Our bed sagged a little in the middle but otherwise we had no issues with our stay.

The hotel was very easy to find. The staff was extremely friendly. Even though we arrived at 11pm when most hotel staff is tired and not very talkative the front desk attendant was very helpful and friendly and offered suggestions on what was located around the hotel in case we were hungry. When we checked out the following day the staff was just as friendly. Made sure to ask if my stay was OK and if there was anything they could have done differently being that they only opened a week prior. ...

Lovely place to stay if you prefer unique experiences and not the chain hotels that all look and feel alike. This is a very nicely restored historical building, full of fascinating details. We got a very nice room, where the only negative point could be the bathroom door that didn't want to stay closed. There was no TV in the room, which was big plus in our eyes. Each cabin/unit has a different theme. We stayed in the "Harley" unit which was beautifully decorated in Harley colors and decor. Room was very clean and attention to detail had been taken.

This is a very nice little place. I was moving my daughter into her dorm and needed a place to stay for one night. This was perfect. The cafe next door was perfect for coffee in the morning. I'll be back.

Very clean and pleasant hotel for a reasonable rate. Convenient to all local attractions. We followed the advice of the staff and had our dinner at a local pub Generations which had absolutely amazing food! Beds were very comfortable.

I’m originally from the area, but moved away when I went to college. We try to come back at least once a year to visit family still in the area. We ALWAYS visit Oglebay Park, but this was my first time staying at Wilson Lodge. I loved it! Oglebay has grown significantly since I was little with various activities for kids to enjoy. We've stayed here the last two years for Spartan race weekends. It's always clean, comfortable and relaxing. All the food is within minimum walking distance and mini golf, grocery/drug stores are within a 5 min drive. Overall, it's always the pick for that trip and would highly recommend based on location and quality of the stay.

Place is a perfect stay if your hitting the slopes. Clean and conveniente.
