This place was very conveniently located to everything I needed. That being said it was not very clean or quiet. Sometimes I could smell pot smoke in the hallways. One time in six days someone dropped off two washcloths and one bath towel. The toilet also leaks around the bottom. The staff seemed very accommodating. Although when I checked in no mention of breakfast.

The hotel is tired. The price was great, staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean. Not enough parking was also an issue. This property truly needs a remodel.

The staff was absolutely wonderful from the girls at the front to the custodians. The only complaint I have is the state of the room, needs updates. Light fixtures were cracked, tracks were rusted, sinks clogged, grease stains on the wallpaper. For that area of Livonia, you would expect it to be updated.

Very nice area, quiet, conveniently close to the freeway. Only issue was the washing machine charger wasn't working properly, I ended up having to pay quarters, and a few hours later it still charged my credit card (twice). So I ended up paying 3x's the amount for my laundry. And the only other thing, by day 3 our room begin to have a strong marijuana smell. We don't smoke the stuff, so I let them know at the front desk. I like the Residence Inn hotels though, the rooms a spacious & it's family friendly.

Enjoyable Night

I enjoyed the room everything was clean even though I always bring my lysol and wipes to clean over. Bed was comfy and the Front desk clerk Tori was amazing she made sure we was comfortable. Hotel surrounded around a lot of restaurants and things

So-So Stay

The staff were so welcoming and helpful! I can't say enough good things about every staff member with whom I interacted. The room itself was very confortable and the kitchen well quipped. However, there were pink mildew stains in the drain, which was gross. Also, there were areas of the hotel, such as the hallways, that were very dirty and run-down. There was some sort of vent near door 3 that has no grate and looks like it hasn't been maintained. The parking lot is full of potholes, and the curbs are crumbling. Perhaps worst of all, the downstairs hallway reeked of marijuana, which is unacceptable.

The area surrounding the property was the main attraction. The staff is friendly and professional. Also the breakfast was a good spread and presented well. This property had the potential to be great and you can tell it must have when it first opened. Now this property is old and needs a renovation. All the hallway walls and carpet are destroyed. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s not inviting and makes it look really run down. You can feel the springs in the bed when you lay down, and the walls and ceilings are dirty and you can tell they are not wiped down ever. Additionally loose floor tile and a shower curtain in one bathroom hanging on by a thread. We stay in the area often and until they undergo a refresh, there are better options available.
