"Staff is very polite, appears only a "couple" runs and operates the hotel; however, they must be overwhelmed with such a large facility. The headboard did fall off the wall in the middle of the night and strike my husband's head. We informed the hotel's management. We were never asked if he was injured or the possibility of compensation, but we were heading to my mom's funeral, so we just moved on. "GREAT Hotel! Amazing lobby, with a very welcoming, warm and modern feel when you walk in. Beautiful lobby bar as well. I was greeted by the friendly desk clerk, and given a room on the 12th floor. The room was wonderful, clean, modern, and spacious. The bathroom was equally as beautiful, and spacious. The fitness center was great, with ample equipment, weights and room for the number of guests who were all working out in the morning. Parking is easy in the Garage Next door, connected with a sky walk so you don't need to walk outside. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Fargo, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and sightseeing within walking distance. "

Best Western Premier The Lodge on Lake Detroit

"Very nice room. Clean, modern with a comfortable bed. Had a room facing the lake with a good view. Enjoyed complimentary "S'mores" in the evening. Had a very young bartender that didn't know how to mix drinks. I was charged almost $25 just for 2 mixed drinks. Other than that, we really liked the place and enjoyed our stay."
