"The property was very clean and convenient. It was so nice we spent most of our time at the property. The tents were beautifully decorated and the beds were amazing to sleep on. Location was great! We visited the state park and the 1910 Siphouse (which also a must stop) Plan to rent again next year! Had a wonderful time! "Loved the area. Lake Melissa is a hidden gem. We lucked out and stayed just as the autumn colors in the trees were at their peak! The view of the lake was incredible out of the many windows. We watched the birds take their route past us every morning. There was a paddle boat and stand-up paddle boards available if we wanted them. The house was fine. Everything we needed was there, but it could use some minor maintenance. There is a window in the shower without any covering on it. That shower...

"We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. We were welcomed right from the start with a gift basket of goodies. The couch and throw blankets are perfect for curling up and watching movies. The cabinets were stocked with necessities in both the kitchen and bathroom- seasonings, coffee, first aid, sunscreen, laundry detergent, shampoo, and even some toothpaste in case you forgot. The kayaks and water toys were well clean and well maintained. And the beds…best beds, pillows and linens we have come...
