I had booked two rooms and selected the option to pay at the property. I arrived at the property at 8pm on the day of check-in and they have already assumed I was not coming and issued the room to someone else. They had only one room left. We had to adjust 5 people in one room as they resort had no cell signal so I was kind of stuck. Even though my booking through hotels.com said I will still be liable to pay the full amount if I didn't show up and without my confirmation they issued the room to someone else.

Lush forested farmstay

Surrounded by lush forest and a well managed spice plantation, this hotel is in a gem of a location and is tastefully decorated and landscaped. We saw dozens of species of birds--from bulbuls to sunbirds--all through the restaurant windows. The service was good and the staff courteous, but make sure you confirm the type of room booked as there was some misunderstanding about the separate living room space. We did not get a room with a separate living room as indicated on hotels.com.
