"The room needed to be updated but was very clean and efficient. The island is terrific with more great beaches than most islands. The Manta Rays swimming around the Italian restaurant was fantastic. We were pleased with the food and drinks on the All-inclusive Plan. The resort lived up to all our expectations and more. The snorkelling here was not up to our previous Maldives resorts but the beaches were better. The staff was also terrific, every single one. "

"Overall the stay was good. But the biggest disappointment was Mr. Mahmoud (Island host). Upon our arrival, Mr. Mahmoud was assigned to us as the Island host. We received zero support from him. Throughout our stay we had to reach out to different people to get guidance, information or support. Island host was not available. To one question, he responded after more than 36 hours. "If you are looking for a great guesthouse on Maamigili look no further. The guesthouse is brand new and the rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. I even had a balcony with beautiful ocean views especially for sunset. The guys at the guesthouse will do anything to make you feel at home and organise whatever you like to do each day. Maamigili is the best place to see the whale sharks and probably cheaper as if you stay on an other island near by as the boats still come back each...

Superb resort

"Lovely staff, stunning accommodation, good food, great excursions. We went on snorkelling trips to look for Whale Sharks, turtles and Manta Rays and saw them all super close to us. Prices also weren’t quite as punitive as we’ve seen in the Maldives before (eg champagne for USD50, cocktails for USD12). "

"Booked with South Ari Dive, who were a fantastic dive centre with everything needed for a perfect diving holiday. Great friendly service, superb value and local dive site knowledge. They took us snorkelling with Mantas during our surface intervals which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience The accommodation is in a local guest house (not at the dive centre but 2 mins walk away). We stayed at Manta which was basic but pleasant and comfortable. Recommend B&B basis as the restaurants on Dhangethi are cheap and convenient. Service was okay though English could have been better and would have appreciated our towels to be changed for clean ones a couple of times during a 9 day stay."

"Two things stood out: 1) Chef Ali's attentiveness to my gluten allergy. I was treated to bespoke meals (especially desserts) as well as gluten-free options made available at request. 2) The joy of the staff as they did their job, especially their efforts to upgrade me to the finest property available as a solo traveler. The conditions were pristine."
