Excellent Home!

This was an outstanding home to stay in with my family. Centrally located for everything we wanted to do, extremely clean and welcoming. The garden and basketball court in the back was an amazing surprise! Will stay again when we return.

Wonderful hosts and amazing stay!

Kim was incredibly responsive leading up to our rental dates and was also very accommodating to our needs as we were traveling with our young kids. She set out a pack n play and high chair for us which were in perfect condition and there were books and board games the kids loved. Check in was easy and the rental had everything we needed for our stay. We also loved the handwritten notes in the guestbook, such a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Lovely Place - Great Stay

We loved our stay at Back of the Moon Cottage. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for the 5 of us. The interior is beautifully updated with the the charm of an old home. We were 5 minutes from Placerville and another 10 minutes from a wedding in Apple Hill. We would stay here again in an instant on our next trip to this region. Great host/great place!

We loved our stay at Back of the Moon!! It is a charming cottage that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location close to restaurants and shopping in the quaint town of Placerville. Kim is a fantastic host and great communicator. This was the perfect little house for our trip out to see family in placerville. It was clean, convenient and communication with host was great. Love the little touches they have put into this place including the garden in the backyard. My three year old loved the books and games. Would stay here again.

Cozy

Oh my goodness we loved everything about our stay. The house is so cute and cozy. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. We had great communication with the owners and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
