"Beautiful looking. Clean pools. Friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing white sand beach. Aggressive monkeys. Appalling food hygiene - got ill on 2nd day. Left on 4th morning when I was well enough to travel. Hot food not actually hot. Orange juice watered down so it was a pale yellow colour. Flies everywhere in the food pavilion in and around the buffet. A lot of food not covered. Salads etc not kept in cool cabinet, just out in the open. Tablecloths filthy and not changed while we were there....

"This place had everything we needed and more. A short walk to a 24-hour grocery store and I can’t say enough about the caring staff at the resort. We will definitely come back!! "

"What I liked: the oceanfront room was exactly as advertised; beautiful stepping out to the porch and watching the ocean. The room was decent and comfortable. The water pressure and hot water was great. The size of the property is amazing, multiple pools, cleaned daily. The interior of the hotel, the reception area, all very nice. The hotel also has a waterfall, garden feature. Plenty of beach beds. The afternoon tea was unexpected and great, really helped me to manage my meals. The massage was...

"We stayed here for 9 days and I have not enjoyed another resort as much I have enjoyed southern palms, the food, staff, rooms, location and service is amazing. I could not fault it one bit and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the staff and management at Southern Palms ♥️"

"Way too many flying insects on, yes, on the food. Flies at the dessert stations...flies at the tables when eating. Hot tubs are accessible only when purchasing spa services. And the hot tubs were tiny, fits 2 only. I did not feel comfortable using the beach, too many unknowns approaching you. Insect, fruit flies in the rooms. Light switches are confusing."

"A very clean, safe and comfortable property. Definitely more like an air B n B that has some hotel qualities. We enjoy cooking and the Amani had all the cookery we required. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only perplexing part was when we asked to extend our stay. The travel websites I checked said that there were vacancy's but when we inquired the front desk said no and it appeared to me that they didn't even check. Also no elevators so if don't like stairs this may not be for you....
