"The location was outstanding, with easy walking distance to town center and the astonishing Ammersee lakeshore. Great dining at Unterbräu Gasthof and breakfast spreads to die for at the Goldammer Cafe. The vacation rental had no problem comfortably accommodating a family of six. The host Alexandra was very friendly and responded quickly and efficiently to our requests, including the extra effort to provide a sixth sleeping arrangement for us, as the apartment is intended for five guests. All had a wonderful stay at the meticulously prepared and super clean apartment that met all our needs and rose far above our expectations. Dankeschön, Alexandra!"

"The room was clean and a bit on the smaller side, but that wasn’t an issue for me. My only complaint was the small shampoo packets, which weren’t nearly enough. If you’re staying here, I’d recommend bringing your own shampoo. The breakfast had a good selection of food, although I felt the breakfast rolls could have been fresher. In my opinion, they tasted like they were from the day before. The staff was friendly, and I really appreciated the 2 PM check-in. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby, a grocery store in the same building, and a great butcher shop right across the street. Free parking was also a nice perk. Getting to the Munich soccer stadium was easy, with a straightforward drive using the highway"

"We had a really nice stay at this hotel. It is located about 1 mile from the train station, which might feel a bit far for some, but it is a straightforward, flat walk along the street and sidewalks, so it wasn't an issue for us at all. We actually loved the walk because it took us past several great local grocery and clothing shops. If you accidentally forget your winter gear, check out a nearby store called KiK—it offers excellent value on warm clothing! The Rooms & Amenities The hotel and rooms are remarkably clean, quiet, and well-soundproofed, which gave us a great night's sleep. The rooms feature working A/C (just make sure your window is completely closed, as there is a sensor that shuts the A/C off if it's open!). They also gladly provide an iron upon request. The only downside to the room was the TV. It is small, outdated, and lacks smart functions, meaning you can't stream apps like Netflix. Because of this, almost everything available to watch is in German. Dining & Staff They do offer a breakfast buffet, but at nearly $19 (€18) per person, it seemed quite overpriced, so we chose to skip it. The staff here is wonderful, though their primary language is German, which can occasionally make communication a little challenging. A special shout-out to the housekeeper (we unfortunately forgot her name!)—she was incredibly sweet. Even on days we didn't request full room service, we could easily approach her in the hallway, and she always made sure we had fresh towels and a"

The hotel was decorated for Oktoberfest and room was bigger and more airy then expected. Only ring was that there was not kettle but I used the microwave to heat water."
