Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head.

There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.

A wonderful location in the Black forest with the flair of the old Germany the old Black Forest the people working there were absolutely wonderful. It’s a very classy environment. Fantastic food, fantastic wine from barrels. They also have a sauna and a honor system in the seller so if you would like wine or any other beverage, you just take it put your name on it and pay at the end beautiful environment. Hotel Sonne was fantastic. The hotel itself is in the typical area style, beautiful woodwork and furnishings. Extremely clean. The location is very good. Directly in the town center and local attractions ie hiking, etc. within a few minutes drive. The staff made us feel at home. The restaurant is a top rated restaurant in Germany.

It was magical, whimsical and wonderful every step of the way. We couldn't complain about a thing! The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The sad thing was that we had to leave . You must stay there if your in the Black Forest:)
